NOTICE OF PROPOSAL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BROOKWOOD WAY, BUCKSHAW VILLAGE, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND PROHIBITION OF STOPPING ON SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS) ORDER 201*

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:

1) Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:



a) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the east side, from a point 73 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Corsair Drive for a distance of 46 metres in a northerly direction;



b) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the east and south side, from a point 20 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Corsair Drive for a distance of 72 metres in a southerly, then westerly direction;



c) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the north and west side, from a point 93 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Central Avenue for a distance of 72.5 metres in a westerly, then southerly direction;



d) Brookwood Village, Buckshaw Village, the south and east side, from a point 93 metres west of its junction with the centreline of Central Avenue for a distance of 60 metres in a westerly, then southerly direction;



e) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the west and north side, from a point 296.18 metres south-west of its junction with the centreline of Central Avenue for a distance of 61 metres in a south-westerly direction.



2) Introduce a prohibition of stopping on school keep clear markings, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm in the following lengths of road:



a) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the west side, from a point



165.5 metres south-west of its junction with the centreline of Central Avenue for a distance of 43.56 metres in a southerly direction;



b) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the west side, from a point



209.06 metres south-west of its junction with the centreline of Central Avenue for a distance of 43.56 metres in a southerly direction;



c) Brookwood Way, Buckshaw Village, the west side, from a point 252.62 metres south-west of its junction with the centreline of Central Avenue for a distance of 43.56 metres in a southerly direction.



A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Chorley, PR7 1 DP and at the offices of The Director of Corporate Services, Lancashire County Council, Christ Church Precinct, County Hall, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
