CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL (PERCY STREET, SCHOOL WAY, PRIORY STREET, WHALLEY ROAD, NORTHWICH) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2019


The effect of the Order will be to:
(i) Introduce designated residents parking places which operate between 8am and 8pm Monday to Sunday on the following lengths of road. During these times motor vehicles displaying valid residents' parking permits may be left in the designated parking place for an unlimited period of time:
* Church Walk (South Side) - From the cul de sac end for a distance of 27m in an eastern direction.
* Percy Street (East Side) - From a point 10m south from its junction with Chester Way for a distance of 61 m in a southern direction.
* Percy Street (East Side) - From a point 91 m south from its junction with Chester Way for a distance of 26m in a southern direction.
* School Way (South Side) - From a point 5m east from its junction with Percy Street for a distance of 30m in an eastern direction.
* School Way (South Side) - From a point 50m east from its junction with Percy Street for a distance of 15m in an eastern direction.
* Priory Street (West Side) - From a point 10m south of its junction with School Way for a distance of 44m in a southern direction.
* Priory Street (East Side) - From a point 10m south of its junction with School Way for a distance of 53m in a southern direction.
* Whalley Road (North Side) - With the property boundary of 51 Percy Street for a distance of 28m in an easterly direction.
* Whalley Road (South Side) - With the property boundary of 51 Percy Street for a distance of 91 m to its adopted extents..
(ii) Prohibit waiting at any time on the following length of road:
* Percy Street (East Side) - From its boundary with Chester Way for a distance of 10m in a southerly direction.
* Percy Street (East Side) - From its boundary with Whalley Road for a distance of 10m in a northern direction.
* Percy Street (West Side) - From its boundary with Chester Way for its extents.
* School Way (South Side) - From a point 33m from its boundary with Percy Street for a distance of 11 m in an easterly direction.
* Priory Street (Both Sides) - From its boundary with School Way for a distance of 10m in a southerly direction.
* Priory Street (East Side) - From its boundary with Whalley Road for a distance of 12m in a northern direction.
* Whalley Road (North Side) - From its junction with Priory Street to its adopted extents in an easterly direction.
* Whalley Road (North Side) - From its junction with Percy Street to its adopted extents in an westerly direction.
* Whalley Road (South Side) - From a point 91 m west of its adopted extents for a distance of 24m in a western direction.
(iii) Limit waiting to 2 hours, return prohibited within 2 hours, which operates between 8am - 8pm Mon-Sun:
* Whalley Road (South Side) - From a point 115m west of its adopted extents for a distance of 74m in a western direction.
(iv) Off Street- Parking Place which operates between 8am and 8pm Monday to Sunday on the following lengths of road. During these times motor vehicles displaying valid residents' parking permits may be left in the designated parking place for an unlimited period of time:
* Whalley Road (North Side) - Off street parking area adjacent to 1 Percy Street for its extents
Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the location and effect of the Order, may be examined at the Winsford Area Highways Office, Phoenix House, Clough Road, Winsford, CW7 4BD; The One Stop Shop, Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council, Wyvern House, The Drumber, Winsford, Cheshire CW7 1 AH; Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council's Information Centre at 1 The Arcade, Northwich CW9 5AS between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.


All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 24th July 2019 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations made should specify the title of the Order TRO - 2448 and may become available for public inspection.
