MARY ELLEN SIMKINS 'Eileen' (Former land lady of The Horse and Jockey Public House) peacefully passed away at home on 23rd August 2019, aged 79 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Albert James. Devoted mother of Tony, Diane, Tricia and Debbie. Much loved mother-in-law to Diane, Garry and Roy. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Michael, Kayleigh, Sarah, Jay, Jennifer and the late Lauryn. Adored by her 11 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of John and Pat and sister-in-law to Betty and Pat. Adored auntie to her nieces and nephews. Requiem Mass to be held on Friday 6th September 2019 at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Ellesmere Port at 12 noon followed by burial at Overpool Cemetery. Family flowers only please, however a donation in aid of Cancer Research U.K. would be gratefully received. The Anderson Family have been entrusted with the arrangements.
