Bates scored 59 in Ashton Hayes’ 110-3 reply after S Parry had taken 4-19 to restrict Marchwiel and Wrexham to a 106-7 total.

Second placed Legal Eagles had O Thompson score 50 runs in their winning total of 133-6 at home to Port Sunlight who had set a target of 130-4 which featured 66 runs from C Newton.

Bunbury secured a winning reply of 143-2 which featured 96 runs from R Bettany, after Division Two opponents Halkyn had scored 142-4 which included 64 runs from Chris Allen.

Tarporley scored 102-8 in their home fixture against Castell Alun who had racked up 102-4.

D Rodgers scored 87 runs in HGCC’s victory at Bromborough in Division Three. HGCC scored 175-7 before restricting their hosts to 102-7 in reply.

D Wellerman scored 48 runs for Backford Hall who scored 112-2 in reply to Airbus who had J Pienaar (49) top score in their 111-4.

Division Four leaders Alvanley Oaks clinched victory with 99-8 in reply to Frodsham being dismissed for 98.

Division Five leaders Kingsley Knights achieved a winning 90-2 after restricting The Groves to 89-6.

Third place Castle Square Cutters racked up a winning score of 112-3 after Maritime had made 111-8.

Division Six leaders HSBC suffered a defeat at Corus who made 93-7 in reply to HSBC’s 92-5.

Second placed Buckley scored 87-2 in their win against Saightonians who had made 83 all out.

Division Seven leaders Shotton hit a winning reply of 54-2 at home to MP Plumbing who were all out for 52.

Third placed Bridge Inn had R Evans hit an unbeaten 101 in their winning reply of 155-3 at home to Heberians who were restricted to 152-7.

J James hit 53 for Gwersyllt who made 100-3 in their home win against Westminster Park who had set a target of 97-7.

Gresford retained top spot in Division Eight after hitting 81-7 in reply to Carmel’s 78-9.
