CHESTER BOUGHTON HALL ladies have completed a treble-winning campaign.
The Filkins Lane club defeated Hawarden Park by seven wickets in the Twenty20 Cup Final to cap their memorable season which also included the Cheshire League title a Knockout Cup Final victory.
Superb opening spells from Suzi Walker and Nicky Capes, both with 1-7 in four overs, got Chester off to a terrific start against Hawarden Park.
Hawarden then doubled their run rate, with Dawn Prestidge making 20 not out and Shami Ahmed 16.
Ali Cutler made 20 retired, and Lorna Thomas (14 not out), and Nicky Deane saw Boughton Hall home.
And Boughton Hall scored a 58-run win against Poynton to capture the Lovelane Knockout Cup.
Lauren Griffiths retired on 20 off just 17 deliveries and Lorna Thomas (11) was run out on the final delivery of Boughton's innings which closed on 101-3.
In reply, Thomas took 2/2 off four overs and Poynton's innings folded with five wickets falling for just eight more runs.
