The race ace takes his seat in an RC Orange Mitsubishi EVO 6 at Oulton Park hoping to improve on his current third place in the standings with just 12 points separating him from leader Olly Clark.
Jamie said: "We're hoping for a turnaround at Oulton Park as we've had some bad luck with freak mechanical problems, like a stone going through our radiator at Silverstone.
"Racing at my home circuit is going to be mega as Oulton Park is a quick track.
"All the vehicles are highly tuned so you have to be pin-point accurate to get the best time.
"The cars are really powerful – the top five or six in the pro class are quicker than a British Touring Car which is pretty impressive considering they're using road tyres rather than race tyres!"
Tickets for the Time Attack Series at Oulton Park on Saturday cost from £15 for adults, with free entry for children aged 12 and under.
