Welsh ladies county star Nicola Boulton won the Ladies Classic held in blustery conditions at Chadsmoor.
Nicola, who is a member of the Airbus Wings Broughton club, came through a line up featuring many of the sports top ladies to collect the £240 top prize and the Lynn Pritchatt Trophy.

Nicola who won the Thurston title at Chadsmoor in 2005 blew away the opposition.

In the semi final she accounted for tournament favourite and three times Thurston Ladies champion Ann Roberts 21-10.

In the other half of the draw the experienced Cheshire County player Irene Reardon (Warrington) was steadily working her way through the field the hard way. Irene had a nail biting 21-20 quarter final win over Margaret Harrison (Stoke) and followed that in the semi edging out Maliza Herbert (Birmingham) 21-20.

Nicola then built up a 12-0 lead in the final over Cheshire County player Irene Reardon, who never recoverd, as Nicola romped home 21-6.
