ATHLETICS - Five set for English schools' squad

FIVE West Cheshire AC members have been selected to represent Cheshire at the English Schools' Track and Field Championships.
Chris Goodwin, Alice McMahon, Alice Jennings, Samantha Galley, and Sian Kelman will be competing for their county at the event to be staged at Gateshead, on Friday and Saturday, July 11 and 12.

The 35-strong Cheshire team selected is:

Junior Boys:- Daniel Bunce, Sam Dykes, Chris Goodwin, Jack Gleave, Matthew Lawrence.

Inter Boys: Robert Blake, Liam Clowes, Martin Corcoran, Harry Ellis, Richard Tranter, Michael Koral.

Senior Boys:- Luke Miller-Briggs, Peter Morgan, Declan Murray, Stephen Broadhurst, Daniel Cliffe, Lawrence Walker, Matthew Jackson.

Junior Girls: Jade Bramhall, Alice McMahon, Megan Huxley, Danielle Wallis, Alice Jennings, Victoria Anderson, Katie Gardner.

Inter Girls:- Samantha Galley, Rebecca Craigie, Kathy Stringer, Natasha Stevens, Samantha Fraser, Danielle Bentley.

Senior Girls - Morgan Brown, Heather Timmins, Stephanie Kleynhans, Sian Kelman.

West Cheshire AC's Bryony Potter has been selected for the Merseyside squad competing at Gateshead.
