JORDAN CLARK top-scored for Chester Boughton Hall in their 33 run defeat at Urmston.

The Lancashire county player smashed two sixes and six fours in his 57-ball contribution of 64 runs, but his side fell short and were skittled all out for 221 after 40.4 overs in the Premier league match.

Mark Rowland (39) and Warren Goodwin (23) had laid the foundation for the Filkins Lane club, but Clark and Ross Dixon (10) were the only other players to compile double figured contributions.

Josh Henderson (2-51 off 13.2 overs) and Goodwin (2-24 off 8.4 overs) had earlier attempted to restrict Urmston, but Sumit Panda (88 not out) and Chris Turner (83) top scored for the hosts who posted 254 for 5 off 55 overs.

Iftikhar Naseer helped Christleton celebrate a six wicket home victory against Davenham in Division One.

Naseer hit five sixes and 11 boundaries in his 72-ball innings of 89 runs before being caught, but Matt Astbury (23 not out) and Iroshan de Silva (6 not out) teamed up to steer Christleton to a winning reply of 145 for 4 off 29.1 overs.

Naseer (3-43 off 15.2 overs) and Matt Parkinson (3-47 off 14 overs) had earlier combined in Christleton's bowling attack to help dismiss Davenham for 144 off 47.2 overs.

Oliver Thompson (89) top scored for Tattenhall in their draw at Bredbury St Marks in Division Two.

Thompson was supported by Stuart Sadler (30) and Roy Sandford (45) before Tattenhall declared on 221 for 9 after 49 overs.

Alan Brock (3-36 off 18 overs) tried to make an impact as Bredbury held on for a draw on 144 for 9 off 51 overs.

Alvanley drew their  match at Weaverham.

The home club declared on 250 for 4 off 49 overs, but Alvanley made 160 for 8 off 51 overs in reply.
