CREATURES great and small ventured out into the snow at Chester Zoo today (Tuesday, February 27).
Many including tigers and bears embraced the wintry weather but others - such as the aardvarks - chose to snuggle up in the warm together.
Jamie Christon, Chief Operating Officer at Chester Zoo, said: “Many of the animals here at Chester have extensive habitats that include both indoor and outdoor areas, so they will ultimately decide if they would like to spend time snuggled up in their dens and exploring their large indoor areas – but most really enjoy a snow day!
“Our expert teams will be keeping a close eye on the 21,000 animals in our care, as they do every day.”
