St Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary School Years 1 and 2 football squads won the Everton FC Mini Kickers Festival.
TWO sporting young football squads are preparing to compete in a competition final.
After winning the Year 1 and Year 2 Everton FC Mini Kickers Festival, held at University Church of England Academy recently, both the St Mary of the Angels Catholic Primary School teams will travel to Finch Farm in Halewood, the training ground for Everton FC.
There, they will play in the Everton Year 1 and Everton Year 2 USM Finch Farm Finals.
St Mary of the Angels headteacher Robert Hughes said: "We are all so proud of our footballers. They played incredibly well throughout the tournament at the UCEA and thoroughly deserve to be in the finals.
"We wish them all good luck when they represent the Cheshire Oaks School Sport Partnership."
