A MAN has been arrested after police after reports of a black car being driven dangerously in Ellesmere Port.

Just after 3.15pm yesterday (Thursday 10 May) police were called to numerous calls reporting a car being driven at speed in Ellesmere Port.

On social media, people reported watching the black car, believed to be a Nissan GTR, being driven erratically while it was on fire with pieces falling off it.

One person described the car, in flames, being pursued by a fire engine.

At one point the car was being driven on three wheels before it finally stopped at Parklands.

One Facebook user posted that she was with her young child when she witnessed the incident and was left feeling extremely shaken.
