FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car on fire on a disused railway line in Ellesmere Port in the early hours of this morning.
The crew from the town's station were called to the railway line off North Road just before 12.15am.
A Cheshire Fire Services spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a car well alight on a disused railway line off North Road, Ellesmere Port. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
"The incident was reported to police."
