MOTORISTS have been warned to expect delays following an incident involving a lorry.

Traffic Wales confirmed at about 7.50am this morning (Monday, April 30) that delays were possible after an incident occurred on the A494 westbound from Queensferry to Ewloe.

An eyewitness, who did not want to be named, told the Leader: "Traffic started backing up by the Deeside Industrial Estate turn off.

"It was slow going and traffic was having to filter over to the right hand lane after the sliproad.

"There was debris on the road, the central reservation was smashed up and a lorry was parked up on the left hand side. It was all coned off by the police.

"It looked like fuel was pouring out of the lorry and going down the road."

Motorists have also been advised by Traffic Wales to expect congestion on the A55 Eastbound from junction 33B (Ewloe) to junction 33 (Flint/Mold).
