Pupils and staff at Neston Primary School wore odd socks to show their support for World Down Syndrome Day.
Gingerbread socks were on sale and £263.50 was raised for Cheshire Down Syndrome Support Group – a volunteer run group that works at unlocking children's potential through early support, family events and training & education.
“It was a very colourful and successful day. The children also brought spare change to donate to this very worthwhile local charity,” said Rob Golding, headteacher of Neston Primary School.
