MAN has been charged by detectives investigating burglaries in which gold items were stolen from a home in Ellesmere Port.
Michael Berry, aged 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with five burglaries at homes and taking a vehicle without consent. He has been remanded into custody.
The charges relate to a burglary which took place in Ellesmere Port on January 1 as well as three burglaries in Oldham and one in Rochdale.
James Loveridge, 36-years-old, of Roch Vale Caravan Park, Pringle Street, Rochdale has been charged by Police Scotland in connection with seven burglary offences in Glasgow.
A 33-year-old man has been released under investigation for money laundering.
A 16-year-old has been released on bail.
