THE Great British Gin Festival is coming to Chester this October as part of its UK tour.
The Carriage Shed at City Place will host the event on Saturday, October 13, will feature more than 100 different international gins.
Upon arrival, guests will receive a gin glass and gin bible to guide them through the tasting experience.
Gin flavours featured so far on the UK roadshow include ones with hints of Palma Violets, chocolate, elderflower, and even rhubarb and custard.
Guests can experience a modern distillery with drink in hand, thanks to a VR headset and a virtual reality distillery.
The event is also lined with trade stands from gin producers, with talks about the history of gin, demonstrations of gin production and cocktail demonstrations.
Live entertainment will be on offer from magicians to swing bands, playing music from Amy Winehouse to Frank Sinatra.
Guests can choose from an afternoon or evening slot with tickets priced from £13 plus booking fee from www.thegreatbritishginfestival.eventbrite.com. The event is for over 18s only.
