Cheshire Fire Engine
FIRE crews were called to a lorry that had caught fire near Chester.
The crews from Ellesmere Port and Chester were called to reports of a large vehicle on fire at the Gowry Landfill Site in Ince Lane, just before 12.30pm today (Wednesday, May 16).
When they arrived, the found the cab of the lorry well alight.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose jets to extiniguish the fire.
The crews then remained to dampen the area.
