THE highly anticipated Royal Cheshire County Show will return this month, celebrating agriculture, music and community across June 20 and June 21.

The show, which celebrates its 185th year in 2023, will bring together people form all walks of life to celebrate the richness and diversity of the county. Combining traditional agricultural displays, thrilling entertainment, artisan food, drink & crafts the show has become a highlight of the Cheshire social calendar attracting visitors from across the county and the North West.

The event will feature celebrity visitors including: Farm Life's Tom Pemberton, Olly Harrison of Olly Blogs farm and a host of Happy Radio presenters who will be hosting Live! At The Show including Darren Proctor and Lauren Simon.

The Royal Cheshire County Show will take over the Showground in Tabley near Knutsford and feature a concert, Live! At the Show, in association with Happy Radio. Scheduled for 6pm on Tuesday, Jun 20, host Darren Proctor will oversee a stellar line-up of artists, including Odyssey, Brother Beyond, Five Star and Katrina (of Katrina & The Waves).

Live! At the Show will be free to attend for all those attending the Show on Tuesday, June 20, as a special thank you to all supporters of the show in these tough economic times. Anyone wishing to attend just in the evening for Live! At the Show is of course welcome to do so with tickets available online or with payment at the gate.

Stages and activities

From livestock & equestrian competitions, horticultural displays to craft demonstrations, the Royal Cheshire County Show really does offer something for everyone including over 3000 animals to see and interact with, light and heavy horses, livestock, alpacas, birds of prey and the famous sheep show.

Over 400 craft, shopping and artisan food and drink stalls will be on display. There will also be interactive activities, including educational workshops and family-friendly entertainment, ensuring a memorable experience for visitors of all ages.

For those looking for a thrill, there is the Red Dragon Monster Truck Ride which has the ability to crush cars whilst carrying ten passengers! FreeDrop by TheAirBAg will also be joining the Show, allowing any visitor to make like a stuntman and experience the land-based free fall experience.

For all the foodies attending this year's show, multi-Michelin Star and 5/5 AA Rosette-winning chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli will be providing your foodie fix by demonstrating some divine dishes to recreate at home. Joining Jean-Christophe will be ITV's Cooking with the Star's Ellis Barrie, Mark Price, Sean Noonan and Craig Sherrington and the Roberts Bakery Food Live Theatre among others.

Transport

There will be a free bus shuttle service running to the Showground from 8 am to 6 pm on both days of the Show. The shuttle bus service will make stops at the following locations:

Shuttle One: Knutsford Railway Station - Bus Station - Showground

Shuttle Two: Hartford Railway Station - Northwich Railway Station - Showground

Shuttle Three: Altrincham Interchange - Showground

Detailed shuttle bus schedules can be found on the Show website, enabling attendees to plan their journey accordingly.

Ample parking will also be provided for those driving to the Show.
