Sudden death of Blacon man, 42, not treated as suspicious

THE sudden death of a man in Blacon at the weekend is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.

Officers were called to a property on Sherwood Road at around 3.45pm on Saturday, May 13.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “A 42 year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death at this stage and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.”

The death came just two days after another man was found dead in Abbey Square, near the grounds of Chester Cathedral.
