Police investigate sexual assault allegation in city centre

CHESHIRE Police is investigating an allegation of sexual assault in the city centre on Tuesday.

Police taped off an alleyway in Russell Street, Boughton, on Tuesday morning (August 26) with the crime scene being protected by an officer.

The incident was reported after 5am and officers are currently investigating.

Police are urging anyone with any information, which could assist officers with their enquiries, to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 98 of August 26 2014.
