MORE THAN 1,000 classic cars will be on display at a castle on the outskirts of Chester on Sunday.

The event will be held at Cholmondeley Castle, near Malpas, and will also include motorbikes, vans and trucks.

There will also be displays from local and national clubs such as Stag OC, Stoke on Trent Classic Car Club, Cheshire Classic Car Club and a special display in front of the hall from the TR Register,

Andrew Greenwood’s ClassicShows are always well supported by exhibitors and visitors, Sunday’s show is just one of the 25 events he is organising this year.

He said: “there is something special about Cholmondeley Castle, the local classic vehicle enthusiasts feel very privileged to be able to drive their pride and joys to the venue and show them off in such a fabulous setting.”

The event takes place from 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Admission is £9 for all adults and £3 for children 7-14 with free parking.
