THE line-up for this year’s Northgate Festival, hosted by Alexander’s this weekend, has been announced.
The August Bank Holiday “Muscial Mashup” will take place at Alexander’s, on Northgate Street. The event promises stalls, facepainting, sumptuous food and drink, and excellent music from a huge range of musicians.
The free festival will take place on two stages, the Abbey Green main stage and the Rufus Court Acoustic Stage.
The festival will host the cream of Chester's vibrant music scene - the best showcase for the enormous range of musical talent that Chester has to offer as well as an array of stalls including Glitterbugz glitter tattoos and art and jewellery stalls.
The Northgate Festivals – Massive Musical Mashup will take place on Sunday, August 24 kicking off at noon with the acoustic stage, with the action on the main stage starting at 1.30pm.
This year’s line-up includes an eclectic mixture of styles from the energetic Neon Madmen to the chilled out folk vibes of Portlights through rock, indie and covers bands, including The Continentals and pop-folk singer Ashley Fayth.
