THOUSANDS of music fans flocked to Chester Racecourse over the weekend for a popular festival.
The weather was sunny and bright in the main for the paying fans as the three-day music festival, Chester Rocks, swung into the Roodee.
Friday night saw UK rapper Dizzee Rascal headlining, as crowds enjoyed dry conditions. Saturday’s thunderstorms had thankfully cleared away by the time The Hoosiers and The Feeling got the fans dancing, before headliners Razorlight played long into the night.
Yesterday, stars of both series of ITV2’s Big Reunion show were on the line-up, including Five, Atomic Kitten, 911, A1, Damage and 5th Story, of which Cuddington’s Adam Rickitt is a member.
After his Friday set, Dizzee Rascal tweeted: “Thank you to everyone that came down to #Chesterrocks yesterday! One to remember.”
The Feeling tweeted after their Saturday set: “Thanks to all who braved the rain at @Chester_Rocks last night. We had a ball and the sunset was amazing.”
