POLICE and ambulance crews were called to a house after the body of a man was discovered.
Three police cars and an ambulance were called to a home in Mount Pleasant, Saltney, shortly after 8am yesterday where officers made the discovery.
Officers from Cheshire Police, who were investigating the incident, said that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
Cheshire Police spokesman Shelley Smith said: “At 8.10am on Wednesday, January 15, police were called to Mount Pleasant in Saltney, Chester, where the body of a man was found.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem will take place in due course.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
“A file will prepared for the coroner.”
