Concern over missing boy originally from Blacon

Staff reporter (Chester First)

POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of 13-year-old Lynden Hodgkinson who has been missing from his home since Saturday January 4.

Lynden was last seen at his home on Cambridge Road, St Helens, but is originally from the Blacon area of Chester and Merseyside Police believe he may have returned there.

Family and friends are very concerned and are appealing to Lynden, or anyone who may know where he is, to contact the police.

Lynden is described as being white, 5ft 3ins tall, of a slim build with short mousey coloured hair.

It's believed Lynden may be wearing a black and blue tracksuit and grey Nike 110 trainers.

Since being reported missing officers have been actively seeking Lynden. House-to-house inquiries have been carried out and detectives are viewing CCTV to establish his whereabouts.

He is known to frequent the St Helens canal area known locally as 'the hotties' and Taylor Park, Thatto Heath.

Officers would urge Lynden or anyone who has seen him since Saturday January 4 to contact Merseyside Police on either 0151 777 6952, or via the police non-emergency 101 number, or Missing People on 116000.
