Liverpool FC fans can treat themselves and a loved one to an early Christmas present, featuring Jan Molby, Alan Kennedy, John Aldridge and Phil Thompson as the star attractions for the Legends Day on Friday 21 December at Anfield.
A new addition to their tourism range, Legends Day allows guests the chance to meet and interact with four of Liverpool FC's former players over the course of an unforgettable day. Free entry to the LFC Museum, an exclusive gift pack, complimentary refreshments and 10% discount at the Club store are just a few of the highlights.
Tom Cassidy, Commercial Tourism Manager at Liverpool FC comments: "guests will enjoy the award winning Legends Tour in its current format before interacting with all the legends at different times. Timings have been structured so that you have the opportunity to enjoy your tour with a legend, participate in question and answer sessions with another former player, before getting the essential autographs & photo opportunities with all the legends. There will be concessions given at The Boot Room Sports Cafe too, so it's a full fun day out for all the family".
The cost for the day is £40 for adults & £20 for concessions, with guests also receiving a limited edition gift. Tom added, “After the success of the first Legends Day the idea has been in the planning for a while, as the Legends come alive with their stories and memories from their time at Anfield and the feedback from the first Legends Day was very positive”.
Jan Molby, who made 292 appearances for the reds comments: "I've been involved with the different visitor products for a while now and this seems like a great idea as the visitors can enjoy more of us on the same day. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm sure the other guys are too, we all love the interaction with the fans”.
