A TEENAGER was arrested following a three-hour manhunt involving the police helicopter in Blacon.
Police were called to Sumner Road at about 10.20pm on Thursday following reports a woman had been assaulted and a house had been trashed.
Patrol cars raced to the scene and the police helicopter was scrambled to assist officers searching for the alleged offender on the ground.
Blacon residents reported high levels of police activity through the night before the teenager was found shortly before 1.30am today.
Cheshire Police confirmed a 19-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and breach of a court order.
