Rail links returned to normal yesterday following the flooding chaos.
After heavy rain had caused flooding on parts of the Chester to Crewe line, commuters suffered major delays as bus replacement services had to be implemented.
However, Arriva Trains Wales stated that all services on the line had returned to normal yesterday, with no further delays expected as a result of inclement weather.
It said: “The flooding and the services on the line have resumed normal service.
“We shall be monitoring the situation and will update passengers to ensure that provisions will be made should their be another period of rainfall.”
