A MAN’S body has been found near a builders’ merchants in Chester.
A member of the public raised the alarm after finding the body close to Hoole Bridge Building Supplies just after 7am yesterday.
Police said the body was found in the yard area and that there were no suspicious cicrumstances.
It is believe the body was found hanging.
The man has yet to be identified and a file is being prepared for Cheshire coroner Nicholas Rheinberg.
Emergency services were called to the scene but is believed the man was already dead.
North West Ambulance Service spokesman Sarah Morley said: “We attended but we were only there for a short time. The body was that of a male but his age and identity were unknown.”
The police said the incident is not connected with the builders’ merchants.
Hoole Bridge Building Supplies, Hoole Road, declined to comment.
