Firefighters were called out to a fire on the M56.
THREE fire crews were called out to a car well alight on the M56.
Firefighters attended the scene of the incident at about 4.20pm yesterday (Wednesday, September1) on the M56 westbound near to junction 14.
Crews from Powey Lane, Frodsham and Runcorn attended the scene and on arrival they found a saloon car which was well alight.
One firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Crews were detained at the scene for about 30 minutes.
