A CITY pub reopened on Friday following a six-figure refurbishment that created seven new jobs.
As part of the investment, the Peacock on Christleton Road, which is owned by Greene King, has introduced a lighter colour scheme with tiled walls, signature pieces of furniture and fresh, contemporary flooring.
The bar has also been completely refurbished, with the introduction of a wider selection of local and national ales, plus world beers.
Adam Kinley, general manager at the Peacock said: “The Peacock is at the heart of the Chester community, so we are excited to be able to offer a place where locals can enjoy a drink or meal in enhanced surroundings.
“The opening was a real success, with great feedback from guests on the delicious menu and the fantastic interior. We look forward to welcoming more guests in the coming weeks!”
The pub has unveiled a new menu featuring a range of seasonal dishes and Sunday roasts.
Guests can enjoy any two dishes from our great selection of Pub Classics for just £10.99, including favourites such as Hunter’s Chicken, Beef and Ale Pie, and Greene King’s signature Yorkie Wraps.
