A QUIZ night was held recently at The Faulkner in Hoole in aid of the Miles of Smiles Appeal, a local charity which sends sick and disabled children on trips of a lifetime to Disneyland.
The evening was a great success and raised £601.
Charity trustee Gary Horton said: ''It was a brilliant evening and well organised. We would like to thank all the customers, staff and management of The Faulkner for this wonderful donation, which will go a long way to helping the next trip to Disneyland happen.
"I would particularly like to thank the quiz master James Davey for all his hard work on the evening.''
The Faulkner holds a regular quiz night on the last Sunday of the month and has raised thousands of pounds for The Hospice of The Good Shepherd in Backford.
