POLICE in Chester are appealing for information after thieves stole hundreds of pounds of jewellery from a charity shop in the city.

The incident is said to have happened sometime between overnight into the morning of Monday, September 24, when thieves stole jewellery from the Oxfam store in Frodsham Street.

The front window had been smashed and jewellery was taken.
