A FREE soccer school in memory of a much-missed Ellesmere Port youngster is to take place this month.

The free football camp will be at University Church of England Academy, Whitby Road, Ellesmere Port on Saturday, September 29, from 9am-noon.

Youngsters aged between five and 11 are invited to take part in the event, which is being held in memory of Chester FC fan Cameron Rowley, who sadly died on August 6 this year aged 11 from a rare cancer.

Every penny raised from the soccer school morning will be donated to the Children's Cancer Support (Chics) charity, which helped Cameron and his family.

The event promises to be a fun-filled morning for all ages, with raffle prizes to be won, a cake sale and a guest appearance from English professional Bantamweight boxer and former IBF Bantamweight champion Paul Butler.

There will be coaching by highly qualified professional coaches, a specially designed programme for boys and girls of all abilities and an emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

To book a free place, call or text Joseph Fontana on 07808 833673 or 01244 911410, or email info@varasports.co.uk.

Children taking part will need to bring along a sports kit or tracksuit, trainers or football boots and plenty of still fluids.
