FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a blaze in the open.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call just before 3.45pm today reporting a blaze involving a fridge and a mattress on land off King Street, Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew from Ellesmere Port attended the scene and used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to put out the flames.
