A MOTORIST had a lucky escape when their vehicle overturned just outside a motorway service station near Elton on Sunday (August 26).
Cheshire Special Constabulary was deployed to assist a police task force with the incident, reported to emergency services at 12.50pm.
The one-vehicle incident saw the black Volkswagen Golf overturn near to the Costa Coffee store at Road Chef Chester Services just off the slip road from junction 14 (Hapsford) of the M56 motorway.
The Cheshire Specials Twitter account said the driver was taken to hospital as a result of the crash, but did not have any serious injuries.
