CHESTER Business Club celebrated £15,000 of donations to local charities and welcomed new officers at its AGM and charity cheque dinner.
The event took place at Chester's Slow Boat Oriental Restaurant and among the attendees were the Lord Mayor Cllr Alex Black and the Lady Mayoress Janet Black.
Charity cheques from advance monies raised from the annual charity walk, to be held on Sunday, September 9, were presented to Bridge Wellness Gardens, Claire House Children's Hospice, The Chester Samaritans, Woodwork to Wellness, Chester Sports Association for People with Disability and Save the Family.
Cheques were also presented to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd and the Countess of Chester Charity, for funds raised at the Casino Royale themed charity ball on June 9.
