New managers, eight summer signings and £1million in the bank; Chester fans can be excused for getting ahead of themselves.

There's been an increasing air of excitement around the Swansway Chester Stadium ever since Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson were appointed joint-bosses and are set to lead the Blues into National League North, which they won last season with Salford City. The Blues have been installed as one of the early favourites to seal an immediate return to the National League.

Summer arrivals including Scott Burton, Matty Hughes, Steve Howson and Gary Stopforth have been met with approval from the supporters, as well as the fantastic, game-changing news that wealthy entrepreneur Stuart Murphy is going to donate £1million risk-free to the club over the next three years.

The fixtures for the 2018/19 season were released on Wednesday, with the Blues handed an opening day home clash with Spennymoor Town, before back-to-back away trips to Curzon Ashton and Blyth Spartans.

But first up there's the small matter of seven first-team pre-season friendlies to come, which kick-off with Saturday's mouth-watering encounter with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side, who were last seen in action in the Champions League final.

So where can Blues fans catch a glimpse of their new-look squad going into the new campaign? Here's the full seven fixtures, including addresses and postcodes for the away matches:
