A SECTION of Watergate Street has been cordoned off for the second time in two months – for the same reason.
A piece of wood panelling has become detached from the frontage of the building above 49 Watergate.
The area has been taped off at ground level but the cafe remains open for business and is safe to enter.
Six weeks ago there was a police tape cordon surrounding the former Toycraft store on Watergate Street.
A local trader said a section of the beam from the first floor of the building had fallen on to the ground and it was understood the cordon was set up to secure the area while the front of the building was made safe.
