MATE Productions will present their stunning outdoor production of Treasure Island in Ness Gardens on Sunday (July 8).

MATE Productions is a theatre and community arts organisation based in Knowsley, established in March 2000, with a reputation for large-scale community engagement and staging outdoor theatre events.
This nautical odyssey boasts live music, stunning Victorian futuristic costume, swashbuckling battles, and a disreputable crew of marauders, actors, dancers, singers, and musicians. This year's buccaneering adventure promises a thrilling voyage for all the family.
Audience members are asked to come dressed in their finest pirate regalia, board the Good Ship Hispaniola and join the quest of a lifetime to Treasure Island. X marks the spot!
Doors opens at 5.15pm and the show sets sail at 6pm. The performance has a running time of 95 minutes with a 25-minute interval. Audience members are advised to bring a camping chair or picnic blanket (and a picnic if they wish).
The show is suitable for children over eight-years-old.
General admission costs between £8.25 and £13.20 per person, and family discount tickets are available.
