CHESTER Little Theatre is marking Refugee Week this week with a performance of Moving Stories.

Last week in Chester's Storyhouse, Her Majesty the Queen and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, chatted with the Syrian Refugees Women's Group who meet there once a week.

Now at another playhouse, Chester Little Theatre, Refugee Week will be marked with a show.

Moving Stories uses a selection of short scenes and sketches by some of Britain's leading playwrights, including David Edgar, Michelle Terry, and Stephanie Dale (writer of the 2013 Chester Mystery Plays).

Some are funny, some bizarre, some poignant – all direct thoughts to what it would be like to have to leave home and go where you don't belong.

Moving Stories will be performed on Saturday June at 7.45 pm in the Salisbury Studio.

Tickets are £5 and can be reserved online at www.chestertheatreclub.co.uk or telephone TicketSource at 0333 666 3366 (booking charges apply).

Tickets can also be bought on the door with no booking charge. All money raised will be going to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

Chester Little Theatre is in Gloucester Street, Newtown, Chester CH1 3HR. For more information, email info@chestertheatreclub.co.uk.

Recommended age to view the performances is 14 plus.
