Chester will play host to Bury in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 21 (kick-off 3pm).
The clash at the Swansway Chester Stadium will see former Blues striker Ryan Lowe – now manager of the Shakers – pit his wits against Chester’s new management duo Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson.
Bury were relegated from League One last season, having finished bottom of the standings.
Chester have already confirmed pre-season friendlies at home against Liverpool on July 7 (3pm), Morecambe on July 24 (7.45pm) and Everton Under 23s on July 28 (3pm), and will also travel to Llandudno on Friday, July 20 (kick-off TBC).
