CHILDREN who are members of a gardening club have transformed their school with brand new planting areas.
The pupils at St Clare's Catholic School in Lache are now enjoying new raised flower beds and a greenhouse.
The club, which meets every Friday, has more than 80 children attend in the last year, as well as five highly-committed volunteers.
Most recently they have been checking on the fruit trees and seedlings ahead of the upcoming planting season.
With some warm weather and hard work, the children are looking forward to a bumper crop for their annual feast day.
The next project to be developed at the school are 'inspiration stations' which will be used to encourage roleplay and outdoor learning.
