TWO men have been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm following a brutal attack in Chester city centre.
Terrence Rust, 52, and Keith Caffrey, 44, both of no fixed address, appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Saturday and are due in crown court this week.
The charges, also known as wounding with intent, relate to an altercation on Northgate Street at 4.30am on Friday, March 16, when a 33-year-old man was seriously assaulted.
He was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital where he is believed to be in a stable condition.
