HAWARDEN'S Good Life Experience festival has announced its musical line up with former Coral guitarist Bill Ryder Jones and DJ legend Greg Wilson topping the bill.

Nature and music website Caught By The River will once again curate a stage at the music, craft, food and arts festival which returns to the Hawarden Estate for a fifth year in 2018.

Multi-instrumentalist, producer, string-arranger and composer Ryder-Jones will make the short trip from Merseyside where he first found fame with Wirral indie rockers The Coral.

Since leaving the band in 2008 he has pursued a solo career, writing both his own albums and film scores, as well as producing records for other artists and appearing as a session musician.

A ground breaking DJ, Wilson's annual Glastonbury sets are the stuff of legend and he was the first dance music specialist to have a weekly session at Manchester's legendary Haçienda. Instrumental in breaking the new electronic, post-disco records coming out of New York, a sound he dubbed ‘Electro-Funk', he was named by DJ magazine amongst their top twenty remixers of all-time.

Also featuring on the bill is Richmond Fontaine frontman Willy Vlautin, Slits songwriter and musician Viv Albertine in conversation with Welsh music journalist Jude Rogers, Britain’s premier wildlife sound recordist, Chris Watson, Darren Hayman, Erland Cooper and Liverpool psych band The Fernweh.
