Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Mold.

South Flintshire Sgt Geraint Richards, North Wales Police (NWP) said: "As part of an ongoing investigation, two men have been arrested for robbery on Clayton Road, Mold, and have been bailed until March when they will be trialled.

"Any additional witnesses in relation to this incident should come forward and anyone with a recollection of events from that evening should inform the police."

The victim was walking home on Clayton Road, near Ysgol Bryn Gwalia, when he was approached by two suspicious males on Saturday, February 3, between 10.35pm and 10.54pm.

They allegedly grabbed hold of him and dragged him to the floor, before making off with the content of the victim's pockets which included his phone, car keys, and wallet containing bank cards and driving licence.

NWP previously issued numerous appeals for information of the two suspects who were believed to run off down either Beech Drive, Elm Grove, and Queens Drive.
