A TATTOO studio has donated more than £2,000 to a hospice.

Long standing Nightingale House Hospice supporters Wrexham Ink are continuing to make their mark having recently raised £2,133 following a tattoo convention and auction in the town.

The event in November featured tattoo artists, competitions, exhibitions, tattooing and an auction and was organised by Liam, Delyth and Nick Green.

The hospice has also given special thanks to Lawri Green, Jacqueline O'Brien, Shelley Dicken, Sharon Green, Sharon Edwards and Harley Green for all their hard work.

Nick Green of Wrexham Ink said: “In the months leading up to the convention we asked the working artists and the stall holders if they would be kind enough to donate something for the auction.

“We were overwhelmed with their generosity - we had original artwork, tattoo machines and many other items. When it came to the auction everyone entered into the spirit and it turned out to be great fun and we managed to raise a good amount for our favourite charity.

“It went so well it will be happening again later this year.”

Nightingale House Hospice area fundraiser Luke McDonald said: “We are delighted that the Tattoo Convention was such a success and can’t thank organisers Nick, Delyth and Liam enough for their hard work and dedication.

"Big thanks too to everyone who worked so hard at the event and to those who donated auction prizes. Their kindness has helped to support our patients and their families when they need it the most.”
