A Cheshire-based artist has presented two paintings to Chester’s Grosvenor Museum.
Anne Lever, who had works on display during an exhibition at the museum last year, has donated her 2014 oil paintings ‘Soval Old Lodge, Isle of Lewis’ and ‘On Suinival, Isle of Lewis’.
Both paintings were inspired by an autumn visit to the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
Councillor Louise Gittins, Cheshire West and Chester Council cabinet member for Communities and Wellbeing, said: "I am most grateful for Anne's generous donation.”
