CENTURION Mark Rowland pointed Chester Boughton Hall to a six wicket Premier League victory at Toft.

Opener Rowland posted 105 runs off 115 balls which featured 13 fours as his title-chasing team amassed a winning reply of 209 for 4 off 41.4 overs.

Rowland was aided by skipper Lee Dixon (36), Guy Dunbavand (27) and Ollie Law (26 not out).

Harry Killoran had earlier demonstrated his accuracy in the bowling attack, taking 5 for 56 off 17 overs which included five maidens.

Jake Hancock (123) had top-scored for the home club alongside James Drummond (25) and Matthew Cornes (24 not out) as Toft registered 206 for 9 off 55 overs.

Christleton suffered a three wicket defeat in their Division One match at Sale.

Mark Coulson (24) and Josh Morgan-Jones (21) combined for Christleton who were eventually skittled for 121 off 50 overs.

Matt Parkinson then took 6 for 53 off 17 overs in a bid to restrict the hosts, but Sale managed to achieve 122 for 7 after 41 overs, thanks to Alisdair Barrowman (33 not out) and Rob Greenhough (28 not out).

Tattenhall celebrated a seven wicket success at Northwich in Division Two.

Tattenhall reached a winning reply of 126 for 3 off 37.3 overs after skittling the hosts out for 124 off 47.4 overs.

Alvanley crashed to a nine wicket home defeat against Stockport in Division Two.

Mike Rowlands (32) and William Speakman (27) top scored for the home club who were dismissed for 145 off 48.1 overs, before Stockport posted 146 for 1 in reply from 33.5 overs.
